Announcement – Update of data
In the framework of its development and banking activity, OTP Bank Albania, according to the laws and regulations in force, we would like to inform you that the bank must keep updated data and documents for its customers.
Based on Law no. 9917, dated 19.5.2008 “On Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism” as amended, the Bank notifies all its customers who hold an identification document issued in 2009 and 2010, which has expired, that:
Every customer who wants to receive services from our Bank, must renew the identification document, which has expired and present it to the nearest branch of OTP Bank Albania. We would like to inform you that if you present at the Bank branch with an expired identification document, any required banking service will be impossible to be provided, unless you present a valid document identification.
Updating customer identification data is an ongoing process, thus the Bank must update the data and identification document when customers visit its branches. In addition, the Bank will also ask its customers to present to one of its branches to update any of the following information: residential address, telephone number, e-mail, other documents which are no longer valid, etc.
Apart from fulfilling legal and regulatory obligations, this process is designed to enhance the quality of service and ensure ongoing communication with You to strengthen our relationship.

You should go to the nearest OTP Bank branch where you will fill out your update form. Your personal banker will assist you in every step of the process.
You must have a valid ID card (an identity card or passport) with you to update your data.
