  • Never communicate your Username or Password to a 3rd party, including your relatives or OTP Bank Albania

  • After you get the initial password logging we advise you to change it as soon as possible

  • Choose complex passwords and not easy to guess.

  • In cases of loss/stolen Online Banking and Mobile banking credentials the customer may come to the nearest branch in order to notify the bank on the loss or theft of the Username and Password.

  • OTP Bank Albania will never contact you, either by email or by phone and ask you to provide Online Banking or Mobile Banking credentials or recommend any link where you can use them and perform Online Banking Activity

  • OTP Bank Albania will never ask you to perform a “test” transaction using Online Banking or Mobile Banking system

  • Access Online Banking or Mobile Banking system only through the link in our official website: www.otpbank.al or writting manually https://www.otpbank.al/en/online-banking/

  • Make sure the browser to access the online banking site is “a green bar” as follows

  • The green bar shows that you are using a genuine service of the OTP Bank Albania

Online Banking is an electronic banking service offered to all business and individual clients, accessible 24 hours per 7 days of the week though two channels:

  • Your computer

  • Your smart mobile (Android and Ios operative systems – with a dedicated application or though our official internet website

The Online Banking can be accessed through your computer, your mobile through the web version by accessing our official web page or by your smart mobile and upload of a dedicated application. The difference of access channel is related to some transactions that can be performed to one channel and not the other. The transactions that can be performed only through your computer:

  • Perform transfers abroad

  • Payments of the utility bills

  • Payments of Tax Office, Custom and Social Insurance

  • Request for debit card opening

  • Request a term depositor optimal deposit opening, only from current account and saving account

The operations that can be performed only through the application from smart phones:

  • Localization of the branch location, ATMs or Head Office of OTP Bank Albania through GEO LOCATOR
    The operations your can perform from your computer and the application in the smart phones (not access through the web version mobile):

The client can use all the functionalities offered by the platform Online Banking except:

  • Sent a request for a new card opening – is considered as high risk and more security is necessary

  • Sent a request for a new deposit opening – is considered as high risk and more security is necessary

Note: These clients can perform all the type of transfers foreseen but should previously register the beneficiaries in the platform, operation that can be done only by being present in the branch and fulfilling the respective request.

Yes, but the payments with urgent value date in local currency or other currencies must be performed until 13:30 PM cut off time. If the payments are performed after this cut off time, the bank cannot assure to execute the payment in the required value date. In case the balance in your account is insufficient, your payment order will not be executed.

In case of smart phones (not manipulated from factory) with operative system Android and iOS you have to previously take the ‘Mobile One Time Password’ in the branch at the registration moment and then you can upload the application in:

The users of Online Banking can perform domestic and international payments with below characteristics:

  • All the payments within the bank’s accounts can be executed 24/7

  • Payments within the country in local currency, with amount up to a maximum of 1.500.000 ALL with due value date, can be ordered up to 12:00 AM;

  • Payments in local currency, with amount above1.500.000 ALL with due value date, can be ordered up to 13:30 PM

  • Payments in foreign currency with due value date, can be ordered up to 14:00.

Note: **Trf. in CHF currency cannot be executed within the day.

Yes, you can have MOTP credentials of the Online Banking for how many devices you may need. This request should be done at the branch.

Yes, you can perform personalized utility payments in favor of: UK, CEZ, VODAFONE, TELEKOM and ALBTELEKOM.

Yes, but for this you have to access the mobile application of Online Banking and in a dedicated menu named ‘MOTP per payment authorization’ you will register the new beneficiary and then the application generates a code. With this code you can perform payments for this beneficiary. At the end of the payment execution you can register this beneficiary even for other payments and the instruction are provided from the platform. If you have Username and Password way of access you should come to the branch to declare the new beneficiary for which you want to make an order transfer
